The following is the new award rates for a Casual AME working away from your home - this would include almost every AME working for a Labour Hire Company (commonly, but mistakenly called Independent Contractors).
38 Hrs per week @ $30.96 = $1,197.13
+ Full board or a minimum of $124.61 per day
Total $2069.40 + super
If you are doing a 60 hr 6 day week this is the minimum.

12 Hrs @ time & a half = $557.28
10 Hrs @ double time = $619.20
6 paid meal breaks at O/T rate = $123.84
+ Full board or a min of $124.61 per day = $827.27
Total $3,369.72 + super.
Regardless of if you are a Casual Employee or a Independent Contractor,
if you work for a Labour Hire Firm they must deduct your tax NO EXCEPTIONS it is the law.
