What a life well lived. Determined, visionary, but utterly humble and pragmatic with it. Inspirational.
In his later years Dr Dave, as we knew him, was patron of the Morris Minor Club of Victoria and lived in a house on Glenhuntly road surrounded by Morris Minors in various states of repair/dismantlement. His knowledge of Minors was comprehensive and he was extremely helpful to other Minor owners.
Oh, and apparently he came up with the idea for aircraft black boxes in his younger days. Humble and pragmatic are both good words for Dr Dave.
PS, look carefully at Dave's coffin; just to the left of the famous "do not open" sticker, is another, "I love my Morry".
