I use a paid software(once in a lifetime pay, lets see how long that "lifetime" might be) for my electronic logbook which offers some good printing service(which is VERY important for an electronic logbook, look into that), so do many other airliners. Only low hour FO's(SO) are still using a "classic" paper logbook as they need to certify their PICUS hours(by signature of the captain) for their command.

I’m presuming those operating under Part-CAT are given rosters showing their standby duty and days off? Actual flights can happen as and when, but knowing when you’re supposed to be rested for is the spirit of rostering...
