If protesters want to change things, then they should seek to influence the cost of the changes they want. Lower the cost of something beneficial to the planet and people will respond to that, to a far greater degree than from just yelling at them in the street.
Exactly. Remember unleaded/leaded fuel? We bought a car that could take unleaded petrol when there were only two petrol stations in town selling unleaded petrol. Within a few months the tax on unleaded fuel was REDUCED. Within a month every single petrol station in town was selling unleaded.

Price reductions change choices far, far, far quicker than trying to hit people with price increases.

But don't expect any of that sort of common sense from these present dimwits. They don't really want to change anything because they don't really know what they are on about. They are just there for the 'occasion'.
