Type ratings are relatively cheap in the UK at the moment because of a surplus of simulator time, summer is always quieter for the providers. Shop around for some good deals on A320 and B737. Several I have heard about hold approvals with DGCA India and Middle East, so type ratings can be added to local licences without conversion.
The flying experience after the type rating will always be difficult hurdle but I met several new pilots who eventually got jobs in their local countries. The airlines from the Middle East through India and into Asia are desperate for pilots and do not have the capacity or the time to train enough cadets to meet their planned a/c deliveries, they have no option but to take the best new pilots they can find from the open market.
Don't give up.
