They are now looking to give what's left of the 330 RSP guys 10 day PDG basings every month which essentially means a 14 day trip out of home base. Might as well be a commuting roster.

just to through a curveball, but wouldn’t that work out okay, as I see 2 week on 2 week off commuting contracts are circa 14k. That looks like you effectively get a PDG base for 14 days then have the rest at home, granted not a base in Europe but I guess your getting 14 on 14 off for circa 21K?
