Yes! The C650 III was the long range lower powered version of the VII, the VI was the ultra short range el cheapo version.
The Allison engine as you can imagine is the Citation X engine under development. At the time the C650 had the highest Mmo of any Cessna type in service, therefore making a good test article.
The pusher prop Citation II was purely an exercise to see if Piaggio knew something that Cessna did not already know.
