My question is when someone asks for “evidence” of being qualified for all 2D approaches what does a pilot show these days?
Rumbear,
Your car 5 licence is now obsolete , when you apply for a part 61 licence from CASA, if you had any of these NDB,VOR,GPS(RNAV),LOC then this will give you 2d on your new licence , if you did a ILS then 3d will appear on your license .
In your logbook you should have logged approaches for currency , also on your instrument rating renewal (now called an IPC), it will list the aids you were tested on.
Anyone can lie about doing an approach, for a job asking for evidence its simply either your IPC flight test form and / or your logbook currency.
