Wow 2 weeks is really fast! I emailed the recruitment team and they said it generally takes 6 to 8 weeks and I should hear back about doing a medical once the background checks have cleared.
Maybe they're just waiting for more people to be cleared before organising training schools because they also told me in the email there will be quite a few being held this year.
Does anyone know how many people will be put on hold? And how it's determined who gets put on hold?

it was fast for me! Though initially my application had to be re-submitted as I didn’t have the correct documents sighted.
I hope that’s the case and we hear some news soon as I was told over the phone as well that there will be many ground schools commencing throughout the end of the year.
Hopefully no holds for us! Trying to stay patient and positive
