I have not been able to visit STN for a while now but I had read on news sites that work was due to commence during spring of this year.
They have started outside the arrivals exit, lots of cones and barriers. Awkward if you are trying to get to the bus stands as you have to go straight across the road, along until parallel with departures entrance and cross back over.
Didn't notice any work inside as yet.
