PPL JAA Licence to EASA Licence changeover

Good Evening friends,

I was hoping to ask for some advice regarding Proficiency checks on the UK PPL licence.

I originally had the JAA Private Pilots Licence (Brown licence) and my SEP was valid until the 2011.
I then had renewed in 2011 and was again valid until 2013.
Another SEP renewal in 2013 made me valid until 2015
Another SEP renewal in 2015 made me valid until 2017.

All the above were stamped by the authorised CFI in my licence for my SEP rating.

Now in 2016 I sent off for the new EASA Licence (little blue licence) and it was returned a month later in the same year 2016.
But on the Certificate of Revalidation section it is empty even though I am SEP validated and current until 2017 which my old JAA Licence has the stamp which also was returned to me and I have to hand.

My question is the above correct or should the CAA have stamped or filled in something in 2016 on the new EASA Licence on the revalidation section to say I have a valid SEP rating until 2017? Or does the old JAA Licence that I have with the authorising SEP Rating stamp suffice?

I am going to do my SEP rating again very soon so would like to know if everything is in order.

Regards
