I have been critical of PACL refusing to allow Qantas to operate the Perth - Joburg sector from Terminal 3 before, but hadn't seen this. As disappointing as it is, it is there in black and white, they had every right to refuse it. The HOA should have been amended or its tough, but Qantas will need to wait until they move over to a combined facility on the Eastern side of the airport if they want to fly to destinations outside the agreement (I don't necessarily understand why PACL wouldn't be keen for more business but its their train set). HOWEVER, it doesn't say LONDON, does it? It says European Cities.

So it now seems Qantas could be using the Perth - Paris flights ( and the long rumoured Frankfurt flight) to conflate the issues around their case against the user charges in the press? It seems there is nothing else stopping them going ahead... unless there's a cop-out brewing!?
