In my current outfit the motto seems to be if you have arms and legs and breath we’ll make you a pilot . Qr management is either stupid to think they will get away with this, or they like to gamble.
Long story short once the talent leaves QR, so short before the 2022 world cup mwaa brave management with some real cojones me thinks.
It's not management who's stupid it's the Pilots. You don't pay more to your housekeeper than you have to, it's just the same with Pilots. QR management can see exactly how many applicants they're happy with, clearly supply exceeds their demand.Things may change as more than 1000 aircraft come into the middle east during the next 5 years but I would imagine that for expats, pay and conditions will at best remain the same.
