I remember that young bloke at the RACNSW. He was one of the nicest and most enthusiastic blokes you'd meet. I must admit having a bit of a chuckle about the clobber, coz he could have put the money he spent on the Gentex and suit towards his PPL.
Saw him a few years later working in the pilot shop near Fast Eddies...

Not as funny as the (very young, possibly new) QF Capt that walked out of Cordony Bros Hairdressing in Macquarie Centre (nowhere near the airport), in full regalia after a dropping in to have his locks freshly coiffed. Looks around to see if anyone notices him, then coolly swans off into the sunset.
Young Jarsephine absolutely p!ssed herself with laughter at the sight, then made a rather unsavoury comment to me afterwards.
Of course I kept a straight face
