I'm on a digital logbook only. My CAA accepts it without issues and it's a huge time saver in terms of logging the flights, getting totals for different types of flying, other statistics like FTL tools etc.
If you want to run it next to a paper log, it only adds perhaps 30-60 seconds to your routine, depending on what data you want to log. For me, after a flight I grab the tech log, fill that, grab my phone, fill that, and then hop out for the walk around for next leg or to go home.
