I can’t answer all of your questions, but I’d rather fly a 737 or A320 for a US legacy than fly a wide body at EK. Just personal preference. Having said that, I’d rather fly at EK than fly at a regional in the US, but if your goal is to get to a legacy in the US, I’m not sure which path would get you there faster.
