@booze: This thread is a separate thread and have been made so people could "jab" about both aviation related and off topic stuff somehow related to aviation like for example laws in different nations where pilots can live. Definitely the thread is not as good as it could be if 2unlimited skipped deleting his comments. But why do read all the stuff in this thread made especially for that kind of discussion if you are not interested, its kind off pointless is it not?

@2unlimited: The point is the drug cartels will all be out of business in the free market with all stuff legal.... because then they will have to function like normal companies and that would make them not get rich quickly without having to work. Because legal companies would produce the stuff just like they produce cigarettes or alcohol and drug cartels would be out of the picture since criminals want to get money quick and with little working effort.

As for all the other stuff you write about once again I tell you all of this is happening as we speak...... so why do you think legalizing everything would make people totally go mad and start doing drugs just because its legal? Do you drink alcohol all the time because its legal? Did more people become alcoholics after US abandoned the alcohol ban from the 1920s? So why not let the stuff be controlled like everything else instead of letting the mafia run it and putting even more people in jail than required ?

As for smokers and alcohol users I think its ok to make them have a mandatory extra insurance instead of a tax on the products. The insurance would pay for private health care dedicated to alcohol and tobacco related problems so the rest of the hospitals could skip the problem. As for unlawful stuff people who drink do.... well it should be treated as any other unlawful stuff done by sober people. No difference there.
