The Poznan base has already closed, but the destination will continue to be served by away based aircraft and those operating on a W-pattern like the Doncaster service. Incidentally, this is currently operated by the Katowice based aircraft.
Katowice is one of Wizzairs largest bases with recent expansion and new routes. The Krakow base was launched as a reaction to keep a foothold on the recent Ryanair expansion there for sure.
I think she got it wrong to be fair, Katowwice is losing a lot of routes and Krakow growing. It was a London based aircraft with Luton based staff so a bit out of the knowledge from Polish bases.
