The arrangement that bmi regional had with LH was apparently restrictive from an operational point of view, due to aspects like the recruitment criteria for new pilots needing to be changed to conform to LH policy along with LH stipulating a higher experience criteria for pilots operating flights ‘wearing’ an LH flight number. It all reduces flexibility from a operational point of view.
I doubt Loaganir will be in a rush to be bound by the same operational restrictions for some time to come, based on what they will know about bmi regional.
