I use both for helicopter VFR flight, and have a preference for RunwayHD (which has more features). Both allow you to file flight plans directly from your ipad/device.

what about for IFR ops? We have a worldwide jepps subscription so I suppose if I need to go IFR I could always revert to jepps FD
