I have personally never had to do a Company Medical as well as a Class 1.
I also personally would have thought if you have to do a Company medical as well and the Medical examiner finds a problem
that could be defined as reportable. Then depending on the state or country in question report it to the Authority via an
AME or Aero medical section of that Authority. I cant see how a Company medical could possibly ground you as that
would depend on the Authority review etc and a Company medical does not have the authority surely to render you unfit to fly
without consulting with the Authority.
I have only worked in approx 4 other Countries outside of the UK requiring an ATPL and Medical from the Country I was in so I am sure other states/countries
may have different procedures with that situation.
