ExpressJet recently admitted to taking E3s. Now they've announced a rotorwing-transition program where they kick in some money to help rotor pilots get their fixed-wing ratings and then go to XJT as F/Os. So here's a question:
Will they take a 1500-hour Aussie rotorwing pilot (have to be a 1500 hour pilot) into this program under an E3, give him the money to get fixed wing FAA CPL/IR/MEL and then run him through new hire training on the jet like the fixed-wing people ? Seems like a
stretch but it's just a question:
