1750 / 0 Aircraft owned by them (the wide bodies that are not leased still have residual loan values to pay & USEXIM has revoked those loans).

The banks are confident that by 2nd week of May they might have a buyer. Good luck with that. Are the airways crowded, surprisingly not & only on select routes while rest have a lot of empty seats. Seems Spice is the best placed to snap up the leases of about 20 plus aircraft & higher the equal number of crew who agree to a haircut. Doubt the other 3 will be able to absorb aircraft & flight crew without a substantial expense.

I feel the ripples will go away in a few weeks & Jet will be a memory in a few months. Spice, Vistara will be the biggest beneficiaries with a little going to Air Asia & Go depending on how they can ramp up. Will be a while before another airline is attempted in India. Air India for sure will never sell
