This recurring question about slots is interesting from the perspective that VS were awarded ex-bmi domestic slots at LHR that they contracted EI to operate under the 'Little Red' banner. There was a belief at the time that VS were to operate the UK domestic routes until no longer bound by initial operating constraints (IIRC they had to be maintained for a period of 3 years or similar) then use them for something more lucrative. I understood that these are the same slots that BE took on for the initial LHR/EDI and ABZ rotations following VS abandoning the Little Red project so if VS's intent with their BE stake is to do the same as they tried a few years ago but using a different model, it would certainly show perseverance.
