I was talking about Lilienthal, not Baumgartner
and I was talking about that pond not the Pond.
I measured in Google earth and from the top it is about 100m to the eind of the pond.
Otto managed to glide about 250 m from that 15 m hill so he would have kept his feet dry and have landed outside the park boundaries of today in any direction.
Quite good glide rate, but he could always choose head wind from his hill...
