Up here in the home of Golf we constantly had problems with golf clubs. With a JetRanger and LongRanger, charters from Edinburgh to Gleneagles etc, with four or five pax all with a set of clubs, needed a car to transport the clubs and luggage leaving the players frustrated waiting to play golf.
We designed a fix for that, creating the "Four Club Day", whereby the players could only bring 4 clubs of their choice (in small carry bags), and we would fly to 4 different golf courses, play 4 holes / 5 holes / 4 holes / 5 holes. It was good in concept, but the players would just be getting into the feel of the course and would then have to pack up and move on. After a few runs, we changed it to play 9 holes at 2 courses, but still only use 4 clubs.
The Pros used their driver for a putter.
