It seems to me the GC aren't able to negotiate with the company as the company are just imposing the components of the failed TA18 with tweaks to the pilot group. Thereby, propogating a period of no negotiations as they manage their business at hand.
I think it would be worth while having the GC escalate court cases on outstanding issues such as:
Holiday statutory pay/loading
Bypass pay and the fact it freezes an officers pay and actually causes them to lose money during their career.... Rather than get the increments at the correct time. Not the "intent" of bypass pay I believe.
Just to name a couple.
The only way this group will get anything and preserve what is alreadya there is through a constant fight through the appropriate channels.
Unfortunately, this is the agile transformation that we can expect.
