A great big Thank You to all the members who proposed Member Motions - for wasting everyone’s time and creating an incredible amount of disharmony. I really appreciate the trouble you all went to in trying to make our Union ‘better’.
In most cases you couldn’t generate more than 20% of actual support. Does that mean you are all out of touch with ‘the membership’. Should you be ousted in a coup?
So stop propagating baseless conspiracy theories and let our elected GC get on with representing us to the best of their ability without having to watch over their shoulders for friendly fire.
I’m sure they got the membetship’s message loud and clear from the No vote initially. They are not dummies acting out of selfish instinct. I trust that they are intelligent people who can adapt their positions to better reflect our wishes. Let them show that.
