You would have to remove the passenger side controls and strap your bag into the passenger seat. You have enough room in the "baggage compartment" for a gym bag for shoes and such.

BTW, I've never measured it, but my Mark One Eyeball says that the total volume in the Cabri baggage area is commensurate with the volume underneath both R22 seats together.
