I can tell you this for a fact. My old next door nieghbour was a Captain at Ryanair and came to EK as an FO. When it was time for him to do his upgrade at EK, he declined the offer and went back to Ryanair as a DEC.

yeah I see your point and I fly with those guys often, they all think they come to paradise but ryr only have two positive things, u sleep at “home” if u lucky to get the base u want, most of the DEC do, and 4 days off after flying lots during 5 days in a row with min rest time of 12h in between.
I wanna move from ryr now just before my upgrade, maybe stay some years, see the operati, destinations, lifestyle then back.
any idea how many FO’s they need this year? How long does the entire process takes?
