Regardless of whether or not members of the GC feel "violated", they should have enough concern for the greater long-term good of the union to avoid getting involved in suing an individual member. If this lawsuit goes ahead, then it could be the end of the AOA. Further, what on earth does Haldenes think they are doing, representing the GC members? They are supposed to be available for ALL AOA members, therefore they have no place in being part of a lawsuit against an individual member. What a disgraceful law firm (and almost certainly guilty of conflict of interest). Seriously guys, grow up. You were involved in a AOA GC that failed miserably. Now, you are showing yourselves to be petty and vindictive. Drop the suit, now.
It's deflection. The members should be taking legal action against the GC for dereliction of duty.
