Sorry, but not correct. MCAS strictly plays with the pitch sensitivity at high AOA. The way that it does this is the issue. I have no doubt that you could still pull the aircraft into a stall against a single MCAS activation. The problem occurs when you have inappropriate MCAS activation and you counter trim which resets the system to trim again.
