On the other side of the coin - in the early 2000's I was involved in conducting interviews for Virgin Blue and subsequently the Toll B737 operation. About 75% of the applicants had simply no clue as to how to conduct themselves at an interview (shuffling their feet, not answering the questions, never looking you in the eye etc). So if there's assistance available - I say take it!
