Given the P2P demand on SOU-AMS I’d like to think that if SOU gets a Loco that’s one of the routes they’d do.
On the Cork thread there was surprise expressed at the dropping of ORK-SOU as their perception was that the route had been performing well and the reasons for it (aircraft reshuffle etc) don’t appear clear at the moment. The optimist in me hopes that Flybe/Virgin Connect pick this up as they already operate to Cork from Cardiff, freeing up the Aer Lingus aircraft at Cork.
If a reduction was necessary I’m surprised it wasn’t a trimming of off-season capacity as in the summer those flights were chocka.
