It's a fairly serious conviction from an incident that happened about 14 years ago. By some miracle, I've still maintained employment as an airline pilot, successfully over the last 8 years between two airlines, both who were made aware of my record prior to being hired. Also, I have successfully renewed my security clearance multiple times without any issues. I can't however fly to the USA. So that rules out the long haul carriers.
I'd be interested in narrowbody flying. Probably a stupid question, but I assume all airlines require police records? Or do some not ask for it?
