It just highlights the absurdity of it all as, while AUR are being bailed out, the States will also be subsidizing their main competitors to the tune of £825,000 to provide a Heathrow service which takes business away from their “ in house” airline ! You really could not make it up ! Just heard the Managing Director of AUR saying that the fares for these routes “will be attractive” - just wait - they may achieve losses even greater than I am expecting.
