Further more, in ten years the F/O salary, which is the starting point for any new joiner is 16,700 Dhs. Ten tears ago when I joined it was 14,700 Dhs. That equates to "whopping" 2000 Dhs "increase" over this time frame. Exchange rate 1US = 3.673 Dhs. Include now all your factual data and that is exactly what you end up with. Especially with a family. Captains salary difference over this period equates to approximately the same difference as FO on the pay scale.
