Back in the mid 1960s or so, a controller mate of mind wound up in trouble, "routine" listening to tapes revealed an incident like that, but also revealed that the controller has not raised a "225" --- he got such a blasting that the union had to intervene and restore a bit of balance in a very insignificant early AM incident, of no air safety possible consequence.
