This does not appear to be a simple weather diversion. ILS RVR minima for an approach to RWY 20 normally around RVR 800. Can anyone throw any light on this, such as aerodrome navaid/lighting failure or aircraft tech problem (hydraulics) requiring longer runway for landing?
It made numerous circuits and go-arounds. During the same period Flybe's Q400s were of course still taking off but arrivals being delayed.
