The general public does not know the difference between "Jack's flying service" giving rides at a fairground and a major Part 135 company that has active SMS programs, training programs etc.
Question: What training had you dome prior to conducting tours? I assume you were operating under an LOA? And you also were part of an approved drug testing program required by the FAA?
Additional on the job training is great, but that still doesn't explain why you require 1,000 hours to give rides?
