TOPS is a voluntary organization that works as a collaborative team to develop air tour safety standards and recommended practices that are progressive, best-in-class and exceed regulatory standards.
The general public does not know the difference between "Jack's flying service" giving rides at a fairground and a major Part 135 company that has active SMS programs, training programs etc.
Question: What training had you dome prior to conducting tours? I assume you were operating under an LOA? And you also were part of an approved drug testing program required by the FAA?
