I do think BHX stands to be smaller under the deal. VS and Stobart have little existing interest, and I doubt it is particuarly profitable - it probably cannot sustain the yield of many other bases. Hourly direct trains to Edinburgh and Glasgow too, with a journey time under 4 hours.
I'd have thought that BHX would be there most profitable base. More point to point traffic and less connecting traffic from other airlines and further away from Scotland.
