I am 18y/o, graduated from Grade 12 AS LEVEL.... I really want to become a pilot but its pretty obvious that I need to invest money into it as well and having my family support me and give their all I need to repay them back hence I am considering Cadet programmes ( Programmes tied up with a particular airline) as I seem that way to be more feasible. I currently stay in UAE but I am an Indian citizen (an expat) so Emirates National Cadet programmes isnt possible so I thought of joining Alpha Aviation Academy in Sharjah but it seems like they have revised their fee structure and its pretty expensive, so I would like to know if anyone knows about any programmes around that accept International Students for their Cadet Programmes.
I kept India's Indigo CPL as an option but honestly speaking I have never stayed in India itself for more than a Month but I am willing to go there if that's the only option I have also they require an equivalency so have to wait for even longer now. Applied with HK's Cathay Pacific Cadet (since my Dad is in HK) but again we are expats over there so they denied as they need a permanent HK ID Holder and we just hold the general ID so yeah.... I hope to get a few recommendations from anywhere around that can guide me.. My budget is approx. 525,000 DHS/143,000USD. I spoke with Etihad Aviation Training Academy but they cancelled their plans for starting an International Cadet programme.
I hope to hear back from any of you guys please help me out if you know of any cadet programmes.
