The quickest journey from Southampton Airport to Waterloo takes 1hr 12.

However you may be missing my point.
It takes around one hour from touch down at Stansted, to taxy to stand, disembark, walk to immigration, (queue at immigration!), walk through airport to station, best I’ve managed is 40 minutes.
from touchdown to station at Southampton is around 15 minutes, although I have done it in 7!
i base the estimates above on extensive recent experience of both airports and from runway to central London, Southampton is faster.
