On the day of the interview, the interviewers start assessing you when you walk into the building literally, to the time you walk out of the building. It's a whole day.
Yes there are some people who just turn up for the day not having any real interest in the past for working in the Airline Industry and no real understanding of what’s involved and seem to just breeze through the interview process and get the job.
You have to be prepared to stay for 8-15 hours on the day of the Interview. And that is a fair and true statement if you have been through the interview process here in Australia.
Although they have the same set up for each interview on the day it can vary from 2 to 4 group activities depending on the number of applicants. Then onto the personality tests and arranging a time for the panel interview.
So if you do make it through it is usually a 2 day interview process that can span over a 4 day period.
Now to the good stuff. The interviewer's are very approachable and make you feel relaxed. Yes it is a long day but you spend the time meeting new people and making friendships that last forever. No matter what the outcome of the day you will have achieved something on a personal level.
Cheers
