Both. They don’t seem to run TR Courses during peak Summer periods.
As for who who gets in and when. I guess it depends on their requirements, your base choices and notice period, and possibly your performance during the selection process? I know someone who got on a course ahead of me, despite getting in the pool after. He got lucky as they’d called him for a Berlin base and he asked to wait for Gatwick, which he was then offered. I’m hoping for a course in Sep/Oct this year. There will probably be a few leavers to BA over the next six months that may not have been catered for in their numbers, so things could change.
