I remember many years ago landing one of BAC's finest (?) twin jets in Manchester on 24 in a snow shower. As we approached the Bolin Valley still decelerating ATC asked for the braking action. The F/O - a forthright personality replied "F**K All whereupon everyone else went around. Not standard R/T but it worked.
