Don't let misguided comments further divide the pilot group. There is only ONE enemy, and it is the rapacious management that has effectively destroyed what was once the best pilot career in aviation. That is the only focus we all need. This latest proposal is effectively the final nail in the coffin of that career. There will be nothing left to stay for if this gets voted through, as CX management will certainly use the effects of the "peace clause" to undermine and crush the last elements of value we have left.
As someone else so ably stated on another thread: "the main reason to vote NO?.....is because the company wants us to vote YES". That is all I need to know about the danger this proposal represents. We have come this far, so let's hold fast and tell both the AOA and the company that we demand a proper contract, proper work rules and proper pay. To settle for anything less than suitable in all of those areas is effectively surrendering, and the only outcome to that will be career ending.
