I'm happy too.
But I doubt that, once it attracted world attention and UNCHR attention, that it was either urgent or dangerous any longer.
If it was processed in less time than normal then it WAS rushed. How many immigrants get there approval in 24 hours?

Despite anything that Thailand may have done initially, they were unlikely to allow anything too controversial to occur once the matter was in the world spotlight. And they didn't.
