It will be interesting to see what impact the takeover of flybe has on operations at the airport, possibly good news for the Manchester route but maybe not so much for the Birmingham and Edinburgh routes. The airport have published a news story welcoming the takeover but its questionable whether the new owners will have much interest in a peripheral airport like Ireland West.
